Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in France's Puy-de-Domme on the 9th of August, 1976. She was the youngest of four children. The parents of Audrey Tautou, dentists as well as a teacher at school, helped and encouraged her in her initial enthusiasm for theater and drama. She initially hoped to be a monkey expert was eclipsed by her wish to further study drama and theatre. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and recognition with her movie role in Le Fabuleux Destin of Amelie Poulain. In the wake of this achievement, Tautou was featured in many film productions ranging from British dramatics such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de fiancailles and moving into Hollywood under the direction of Ron Howard of The Da Vinci Code, a Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code along with Tom Hanks.
